Jerky FAQs
The short answer is that jerky is meat that’s been sliced, marinated, and air-dried in a dehydrator to remove moisture and preserve it.
What comes out of the dehydrator is a lightweight, high-protein, chewy yet flavourful snack that you can eat anywhere, at anytime.

No, you should not consume the blue packet that says DO NOT EAT in the jerky bag. The packet is a charcol oxygen absorber which helps prevent spoilage and extend the shelf life of our jerky. While it is non-toxic, we do not recommend consuming it.
